Atilla is the product designer. Research first, then the interface, then the conversion work that follows once something is live and there is data to look at.

Design for regulated software is a different job from design for consumer products, and it is the one he mostly does. The screens are dense. There are permission models to express, so that a user can see at a glance what they are allowed to touch. There are forms that cannot be simplified away because a regulation requires every field. There are audit trails that have to be readable by someone who is not technical. Making that legible, and making it something a person can work in for eight hours a day without resenting it, is harder than making a landing page look good.

He also runs the conversion side: what people actually click, where they stop, and what to change as a result rather than as a guess.
